Alisa Petrov, the 15-year-old girl who went missing in Utah, walked into a police station all the way over in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on Sunday evening, according to cops.
She is, by their account, safe and sound.
“Alisa is in good health and safe with Colorado officials,” cops in the city of South Jordan wrote. “Alisa’s parents have been notified of her location and are working with South Jordan Police to bring her home.”
Petrov was last seen on April 21. She reportedly had been dropped off to go to school in American Fork, Utah, but instead of going to classes, she took a train to the city of Provo. Police claim three different men — Miami, Florida, man Matthew Nicholas Menard, 35, Herriman, Utah, resident Samuel Mitchell, 41, and Texas City, Texas, man William Taylor Glines, 37 — had been having sexually illicit conversations online with her.
In particular, Menard allegedly planned on meeting Petrov in Las Vegas. Mitchell allegedly possessed illicit material of two girls, described as aged 12 and 15.
All three men have been arrested.
