The Valley continues to keep us on edge with never-ending drama that manages to target just about everyone in this friend group. In Episode 7, a new rumor stirs things up in the San Fernando Valley when Kristen Doute claims Jasmine Goode told her that Jason Caperna takes his wedding ring off when he goes out.
Both Jason and his wife, Janet Caperna, confronted both Kristen and Jasmine about this allegation. However, it hurts Jason to hear that Jasmine has brought it to light, seeing that he defended her after asking Danny Booko to apologize for his actions during a Halloween party.
Meanwhile, we also saw an update from Jax Taylor, who is still in an inpatient facility. Brittany Cartwright learns that her estranged husband plans to move out of the very house he previously kicked her out of—and hasn’t paid the mortgage in months. Now, Brittany is left to reclaim her dream home with her son while also facing a steep increase in her monthly mortgage payments.
Janet And Jason Aren’t Over Ring-Gate
Episode 8 begins with a party at Vanderpump Rules alum Scheana Shay and her husband, Brock Davies’ home where Scheana’s famous enchiladas make their grand reappearance. Brittany, Scheana, and Janet Caperna discuss events that transpired at Brittany’s shark party the other night when the cameras were not rolling in which Zack Wickham said some pretty negative things about their friend, Jared.
Janet shares that Zack said “some pretty horrible things. I can’t even repeat what he said.”
Zack is at Kristen and Luke’s home where he shares that whatever he had said to Jared was taken out of context. It was a “hyperbole,” but Brittany yelled at him, causing Zack to question his friendship with her. “I don’t have her the way I used to have her. It’s just different,” Zack shares in a confessional.
Meanwhile, at Scheana’s party, Janet brings up the rumor that Jason doesn’t wear his wedding ring in public and that Kristen was the one to share it. Janet thinks that Kristen is just covering up for Danny Booko, who she thinks really is the one with the issues. “What are we not talking about? Danny actually going to the bars and being shady.”
“I expect bulls*** spewing out of Kristen’s mouth, I don’t expect it from Jasmine.”
“Girl came after my husband. Good luck. “You just put a target on your back, b****,” she adds. Both Janet and Jason also share that they want an apology from Jasmine, who was the one to inform Kristen to the ring rumor.
Beach Day Isn’t All Fun In The Sun
The gang all meet up for a beach day and Kristen already knows it’s going “to be a s** show,” especially since both Jasmine, Janet and Jason will be there together. However, Kristen loves every minute of this, as she too, has some beef with the Capernas.
The beach day goes smoothly at the start with Kristen and Jasmine leaving the circle and separating themselves as the rest of the cast play a game of truth and dare. But, as the sun sets, both Janet and Jason decide it’s time to confront Jasmine about the ring rumor.
Things escalate quickly as Jasmine becomes visibly upset when Janet cuts her off and insists on being present during a conversation Jasmine hoped to have alone with Jason. The argument soon erupts into shouting from both sides, but Jasmine hurls some really hurtful words towards Janet:
“Janet you’re a sh*t a** friend. You’ve been a vibe killer. You’re exhausting. You give Karen energy. And I’m f***ing done with it.” Ouch.
After watching Jasmine call his wife all these names, it’s no wonder viewers then witness a notably reserved Jason finally speak up—calling Jasmine a “snake in the grass” and appearing deeply hurt.
Jasmine shares that she has heard the rumor from many people, and won’t give an apology. Her defensive behavior suggests the rumor may be baseless, as she continues to deflect and avoids taking responsibility for resurfacing a claim from two years ago, although both Janet and Jason believe she may have been the one to start the rumor. Ultimately, it seems the real issue is Jasmine’s disdain for Janet.
Zack Wants Brittany To Have His Back
At lunch with Brittany, Kristen, Zack, and Nia, Brittany shares that she went on a date and is really interested in the person she is seeing. We finally see a big smile on her face and fans are all here for it.
The group discuss beach day and Zack and Kristen both agree that they are confused about why Jason and Janet are still upset over the rumor after laughing it off at Brittany’s shark party. However, as Janet previously shared, the situation felt more serious after she told her mom about the wedding ring rumor and saw how upset she became. That’s when Janet realized it wasn’t something to brush off so lightly.
Zack then turns the conversation over to his friendship with Brittany. He’s upset that her friend, for years, continues to have Janet’s back and not his. Zack believes he’s being “pushed away” by Brittany, but she assures him it isn’t true.

Back at the Caperna’s residence, Janet shares that she’s extremely hurt by Jasmine and all the things she called her at the beach. They were friends for years and she’s questioning their entire relationship. “Jasmine’s been a close friend for years and I feel she’s kind of discarding our friendship,” she shares.
“She doesn’t have the same care for me that I have for her, so it’s honestly really sad.”
Jason then FaceTimes Jax Taylor at the facility. Jax shares that he’s doing well and is realizing where his anger is coming from. He shares that he “pushed” Brittany away and finally took some kind of responsibility. We also learn that Jax is willing to give up his portion of his podcast money to Brittany to help pay for the mortgage.
It becomes clear that Jax hasn’t made much progress. In fact, his behavior at the end of the episode is downright disturbing. While Brittany FaceTimes Jax’s sister, Jenny, a production member tells her and Jax had just texted her: “make sure you get that on film. I can hear everything. Childish behavior.” Although Brittany continues to cover her home cameras, it seems that Jax can hear them. Did he actually bug the house? To make matters worse, Brittany shares that her wedding rings are missing.
