Teddi Mellencamp confirmed the news of her new boyfriend on Tuesday’s episode of her and Tamra Judge‘s podcast after images of the two of them hit the web.

As an insider alleged that Teddi, 43, would be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for season 15, much to the dismay of many fans, Teddi opened up about her dating life, explaining that her “private” new man has been “taking good care” of her and sharing why she won’t reveal his name.

“I’m dating somebody,” she announced on the June 3 episode of Two Ts In a Pod, via Us Weekly. “He’s very kind to me, he’s taking good care of me. He’s nice … he’s not married, he doesn’t have any kids. But he’s also a private person.”

According to Teddi, she opted against publicly stating her new boyfriend’s name because he didn’t know she was famous when they met. 

“I asked him, like, ‘Do I even say your name?’ And he’s, like, ‘It’s really whatever you want to do,’ like, ‘I know you’re a public person,’” she recalled.

Teddi split from Edwin Arroyave, 48, at the end of last year after 13 years of marriage and three children, including Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 5. And in the months since, she has been battling skin cancer that spread to her brain and lungs.

In other RHOBH news, a May 15 blind item suggested that Kyle Richards, 56, had convinced producers to welcome Teddi back to the show for season 15.

“The teacher’s pet finally managed to get the celebrity offspring back on the show. Great, it will be even more unwatchable,” an insider claimed.

Following the report, followers of the Bravo Snark Side fan page on Instagram had mixed reactions, with some expressing excitement over Teddi’s potential return and others vowing to boycott the series.

“No one wants the accountability coach that lacked accountability back. She was a follower and a bore! I do wish her well with her health but she can do that off our screens,” one person stated.

“Why……ugh!!! I feel for Teddi and her current situation, but I really don’t think she should be back on the show,” another agreed.

“Omg no. I’m done with this show,” said a third.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 is expected to go into production sometime in the coming months.
