In response to the accusations, Yinka clarified that her relationship with Fani-Kayode was purely platonic, though not without its ups and downs. She emphasized that they were close friends and firmly denied any romantic involvement.

Yinka also mentioned that FFK’s ex-wife, Precious Chikwendu, was like a younger sister to her, further discrediting the affair rumors.
