McDonald's s'mores McFlurry: Fast-food chain brings campfire sweet to menu

The new menu addition comes just a month before the long-awaited return of McDonald’s Snack Wrap.

WASHINGTON — McDonald’s is bringing a campfire classic to its menu.

The fast-food chain announced on Wednesday that the new Hershey’s S’mores McFlurry will be available at McDonald’s restaurants nationwide starting June 10. The new flavor combines vanilla soft serve with Hershey’s milk chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows, according to the announcement.

McDonald’s announced that the new sweet treat, which contains approximately 460 calories, is available for a limited time only. It is also offered in a mini size, which comes in at around 280 calories.

The new McFlurry is already available in the McDonald’s app for some customers despite the June 10 release date.

The new menu addition comes just a month before the long-awaited return of McDonald’s Snack Wrap.

Last week, McDonald’s officially announced that the fan-favorite menu item will return on July 10.

The Snack Wrap — a tortilla filled with chicken, lettuce, shredded cheese, and sauce — was introduced by McDonald’s almost two decades ago to make it easier to eat its chicken on the go. But it was too complicated for its kitchens to prepare, so the burger giant abandoned the Snack Wrap in the U.S. in 2016. By 2020, the Snack Wrap was fully phased out in locations across the country.

In April, the McDonald’s account on X, formerly known as Twitter, hinted on the timing, writing, “snack wraps 0x.14.2025.”

The company then continued to tease the return of Snack Wraps in a May press release, which announced its first permanent item to the menu in four years: McCrispy Strips. “And that’s a wrap…at least for now,” the press release said.

Over the years, fans rallied to bring back the menu item. Last year, McDonald’s USA President Joe Erlinger revealed during an interview on Good Morning America that the Snack Wrap would return in 2025. “This has a cult following, I get so many emails into my inbox about this product.”

The company won’t say how much the Snack Wrap will cost in the U.S. because prices will vary by location.
