The Valley’s Jasmine Goode confirmed during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that her wedding with her fiancé, Melissa Marie, will take place “next summer.” Melissa Marie was present in the audience as Jasmine shared the details of their upcoming nuptials.

How to Watch

Jasmine mentioned to Andy Cohen that he is invited to their special day and extended the invitation to the episode’s other guest, Yvonne Strahovski, an actress from Handmaid’s Tale and a superfan of The Valley.

The couple, Jasmine and Melissa, have previously discussed their wedding plans, revealing further details about the anticipated event in an interview with US Weekly last month. Despite their excitement, they confessed to taking their time with the planning process.

“We’re a little slow, a little behind from normal people who are engaged right now,” Jasmine told the outlet.

The couple did say that they selected a wedding venue and date — they plan to have the ceremony in New Jersey, their home state. They also told the outlet that the entire cast of The Valley will be invited.

Inside Jasmine Goode and Melissa Marie’s engagement

After four years of dating, Jasmine and Melissa both proposed to one another last year during a romantic vacation in Italy. Melissa was the first to pop the question in Lake Como, Italy, and Jasmine proposed a few days later, according to US Weekly.

“It was really crazy because we both have been thinking about getting engaged and looking at rings for a while now,” Jasmine told the outlet. “We were just trying to find the right time and place to do it. Before I could even propose to her, she surprised me, which I was blown away [by].”

Jasmine’s castmates were incredibly supportive of the engagement, with her co-star Zack Wickham even helping the pair go ring shopping.

Jasmine Goode and Melissa Marie reveal plans to start a family

Jasmine and Marie are both eager to start a family, according to the US Weekly. “We both want to start a family really soon,” Jasmine told the publication. “That’s our main goal.”

The couple may be excited for parenthood, but have held off on starting a family for one simple reason: marriage.

“We both want to be moms and for us, we do want to make sure we’re married first. That’s something that means a lot to our family,” she explained.

Jasmine revealed that she and Melissa were considering freezing their eggs so they could start a family in the future during an interview with The Daily Dish last year. “Because [getting pregnant is] definitely going to be a struggle for us,” Jasmine said. “It’s not going to be easy.”
