Ex-NFL star Antonio Brown has waded into the ongoing LA riots crisis by claiming he had an affair with the wife of California Governor Gavin Newsom.

In his latest social media bombshell, Brown sent a message to Newsom simply claiming ‘I had sex wit ur wife Gavin’, after the politician revealed he is suing President Donald Trump.

There is no evidence to suggest that Brown’s latest incendiary post is based in truth, but it quickly went viral and created a huge reaction from the public.

In a separate tweet, Brown posted about Newsom’s wife again while including a picture of a sex toy, and also made vulgar comments about their alleged ‘affair’.

Newsom, 57, and his wife Jennifer Siebel Newsom, 50, have been married since 2008, prior to which he was wedded to Kimberly Guilfoyle – Donald Trump Jr’s ex – for five years.

Brown’s social media outburst is just the latest controversy to surround the ex-Tampa Bay Buccaneers star, who has regularly been in headlines for all the wrong reasons since hanging up his cleats back in 2021.

Just last month, shocking video showed the troubled football star appearing to pull out a gun before ‘fighting off attackers’ in a wild brawl outside a boxing event in Miami.

In videos which quickly flooded social media, Brown can be seen brawling with a group of men whom he later claimed were attempting to ‘steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me’.

In an interview with the Daily Mail in the days that followed, the alleged attacker claimed the Brown instigated the violent incident and shot him in the neck.

Newsom, meanwhile, is likely too busy to see Brown’s tweets at him on social media, given the ongoing violence that has flooded LA in recent days.

Chaos erupted over the weekend after protestors clashed with immigration officials, leading to three days of violence and 74 arrests.

Hundreds of Marines have since been mobilized to Los Angeles, along with the National Guard, leading to fury from Newsom who claims that he was not notified of the decision by Trump.

In a new post on X, the Governor wrote: ‘I was just informed Trump is deploying another 2,000 Guard troops to L.A.

‘The first 2,000? Given no food or water. Only approx. 300 are deployed — the rest are sitting, unused, in federal buildings without orders,’ he claimed.

‘This isn’t about public safety. It’s about stroking a dangerous President’s ego.

‘This is Reckless. Pointless. And Disrespectful to our troops.’

The announcement came just moments before California state representatives officially filed a federal lawsuit against the Trump administration for sending in the National Guard.

‘One of the cornerstones of our Nation and our democracy is that our people are governed by civil, not military, rule,’ Newsom wrote in a follow-up post on X.

‘The Founders enshrined these principles in our Constitution — that a government should be accountable to its people, guided by the rule of law, and one of civil authority, not military rule.’

‘California will be standing up for those principles in court, @realDonaldTrump.’
