In episode 2, Ally described the Destination X bus as “a massive, 24/7 sleepover” and said she was “really starting to like everyone” — especially Shayne.

“I flirt with Shayne all the time, and I think he’s gorgeous,” she said.

At the start of episode 3, which was aptly titled, “Catching Feelings Changes Everything,” Ally and Shayne were seen holding hands as they lounged in their bunk beds. The two later started making out.

In a confessional, Shayne said that he was single and hoping to find someone.

“I’m out of that player phase of my life. I’m ready to settle down,” he added.

Meanwhile, Ally admitted, “I am a romantic, and I’m flirty, and I’m gonna want to cuddle. If I meet a guy I really like, I’m gonna be like, ‘Yeah, so, I actually did get the clue, do you wanna know what it is?’”

The rest of the players noticed the romance brewing between Ally and Shayne, with a few mimicking their intertwining fingers. Biggy Bailey expressed frustration at Shayne finding love on the bus.

“I haven’t always been the best with women. I can’t close,” he said. “Shayne’s wrapped up with Ally like a pair of daggum headphones.”
