No arrests were made, but the phones are expected to undergo forensic examination.

The raid comes after police said they received a number of anonymous reports related to the arson attack, including a call where a pseudonym was given.

They have urged that caller to make further contact with police to provide additional information.

Police believe the fire was the result of a targeted arson attack linked to the illicit tobacco trade, but they believe the culprits targeted the wrong house.

CCTV from the incident on January 16 shows two people exit a dark-coloured vehicle similar to a BMW X3 or X5 parked outside the home about 2am.

A ring camera at the Dover Street house also captures the moment the house is engulfed, before two men, one carrying what appears to be a jerry can, flee the scene. (Victoria Police)

A ‘significant explosion’ then occurred and the pair left the area, with one of the men carrying what appears to be a jerry can, according to ring camera footage from the home.

A dark coloured vehicle was captured travelling north on Forsyth Road in Truganina minutes after the Dover Street house was set ablaze.

Katie Tangey, 27, was inside house-sitting for her brother who was on his honeymoon at the time.

She called triple-zero stating the house was engulfed in fire, but sadly died at the scene along with the family’s golden retriever..

The three-storey townhouse was completely destroyed, according to police.

“Investigators know Katie Tangey was completely innocent and had nothing to do with the illicit tobacco trade,” police said in a statement today.

Police said a “significant investigation” to determine a motive for the attack and find those responsible remains ongoing.

“We know this is solvable, and we know we are getting closer. If you know absolutely anything, I cannot implore you enough to find it in yourself to do the right thing and come forward,” detective inspector Chris Murray said.

“We are absolutely determined to provide what closure and justice we can to the family of Katie Tangey.

“I know Katie’s family would want nothing more than to see her live out the whole life she had ahead of her, but the least we can do is make sure those responsible for this tragedy are held accountable for their actions.
