Demi Engemann denied that Jen Affleck’s husband Zac Affleck has “changed,” and addressed if she actually sent her a cease and desist. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star also shared if she’s known her own husband Brett Engemann (who’s 16 years older) since she was a child, and claimed that scenes in season 2 were taken out of “context.”

In season 1, Zac threatened to divorce Jen for going to a male strip club with friends. Many fans were offended by his actions, though he seemed to be a different person when cameras picked up for season 2. In one scene, he met with Demi as they shared common ground.

On her Instagram, Demi played “fact or cap” with fans, letting followers make statements which Demi would confirm (fact) or claim is a lie (cap).

One fan wrote, “Zach has really changed.”

Demi answered, “For a minute I thought he had [changed] in some aspects but everything I’m seeing lately… CAP! I think there’s some major overcompensating happening [at the moment].”

Another follower asked about Jen’s claim that Demi sent her a cease and desist – concerning Jen’s allegations that Demi had an inappropriate relationship with Marciano Brunette from Vanderpump Villa.

“CAP!” she exclaimed, via @vanderpodrecaps on Instagram. “Never sent [a cease and desist] to anyone in my life.”

“Is it true you have a large age gap between you and Bret?” asked another fan. “Y’all look the same age I can’t tell.”

“FACT,” Demi responded. “16 years.”

A different user asked if Bret has “known you since [you were] a child.”

“CAP! I’ve made a couple satire TikTok’s about this and people are concerned… for good reason. Oops,” she wrote. “We met for the first time at our mutual friend’s funeral when I was 22. I had heard of him but he didn’t know I existed before then. Thank God.”

At one point, a fan addressed the claim that cameras revealed moments of her “out of context.”

“FACT! There was almost zero context to most everything related to me,” she said. “It felt like a bad dream watching it back.”

Season 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is now streaming on Hulu.
