CCTV captures man stealing staff phone at Sterling Bank branch in Anambra

A Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) camera has captured the moment a man walked into a Sterling Bank branch in Anambra and stole a staff member’s mobile phone.

The incident was shared in a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by a user identified as @ChuksEricE.

In the video attached to the post, the man, dressed in a brown native attire, is seen pretending to be on a phone call as he moves around the bank premises.

He appears to be observing his surroundings closely while trying to avoid drawing attention from bank staff.

When he noticed that no one was watching, he discreetly approached a table and picked up a mobile phone placed on it. After successfully stealing the phone, he quickly exited the bank.
