Storm Team 3: Heat & humidity continue for Father's Day Weekend
Share and Follow

We’re staying hot and humid into Father’s Day weekend as temperatures continue to soar into the low 90s and heat indices into the triple digits. Make sure you’re staying cool and hydrated as you’re out and about celebrating the holiday weekend. As we continue to see this heat and humidity, we continued to see the unsettled weather pattern. The “rinse and repeat” continues for the weekend, as we have a chance of scattered showers and storms both today and tomorrow afternoon and evening. If you have plans outside, make sure to keep an eye on the sky and have a plan b just in case.

The unsettled weather pattern continues into the work week as temperatures continue to increase. Highs reach the mid 90s by the middle and end of the week with heat indices continuing to stay in the triple digits as warm, moist air gets pushed in from the south. We’ll also continue to see a chance of isolated storms each and every day this week. No severe weather is expected at this time, but be sure to continue to have your umbrella handy along with having indoor back up plans throughout the week.
