Storm Team 3: Hot, Humid & Stormy Father's Day Forecast
Share and Follow

Another muggy night is expected as wet ground from earlier rain coupled with a humid airmass will make it feel uncomfortable.

Sunshine and hot conditions are expected for a vast majority of Father’s Day as temperatures will soar into the lower-90s, with a heat index upwards of 105°.

Be sure to stay hydrated and mindful of the heat.

Storm Chances Again

Scattered thunderstorms are expected again as we remain locked into a summer pattern. Have indoor plans available for the afternoon and evening hours.

Frequent lightning, torrential rain, and the possibility for damaging winds exist with some storms but do not expect widespread severe weather concerns.

A Look Ahead

This pattern sticks around for the new week. As we work towards the middle/end of next week, high pressure will build. This will lead to hotter temperatures in the extended forecast & more isolated rain chances.
