Political violence 'mostly caused' by Dems: Trump Jr.

() In an exclusive interview with ‘s Connell McShane, Donald Trump Jr. said he believes most political violence is caused by Democrats.

“Listen, I think what we have to actually do, I would love to see all of that (political rhetoric) turned down, but I think I’m seeing it come from the Left,” Trump Jr. said.

“Everyone talks about Minnesota, but they don’t talk about the guy who seems to be a leftist. It’s a Minnesota politician, a guy who was appointed by the Democratic governor, vice presidential candidate for the Democratic Party, Tim Walz. The guy that committed those atrocities this weekend is a Democrat,” he added.

Trump Jr. lamented how political violence has impacted his family, particularly his father, President Trump, the target of a July 2024 assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. He also criticized violence in the summer of 2020 at Black Lives Matter protests following the killing of George Floyd.

“If Republicans were doing that, they’d be thrown in jail. When a Democrat does it, it’s to preserve democracy,” Trump Jr. added.

Trump Jr. announced the launch of a new mobile phone business called Trump Mobile, which he claims will provide greater value and alignment with the American people’s interests.

Trump Jr. told that call centers will be based in the United States, and customers’ data will remain solely in America.

It will be headed up by Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son, and his brother, Eric Trump. It comes on the anniversary of when President Trump announced his candidacy for president in 2015.

Trump Jr. rebuked the notion that he is riding on his father’s name and position as U.S. president.

“I’ve been a businessman for 25 years,” he said. “We’ve been a business family forever; we didn’t magically become business people when my father took office.

“We’ve borne witness to a lot of the nonsense that so many Americans dealt with.”

Trump Jr. denied that the president would financially benefit from Trump Mobile.
