Stassi Schroeder slammed Vanderpump Rules’ spinoff, The Valley, suggesting that it doesn’t represent their age demographic. She also shared if she’s going to keep watching it.

Stassi was fired from Vanderpump Rules years ago, though she recently filmed for Hulu’s Vanderpump Villa. She also has her own docuseries coming out, and she was asked to join The Valley, but she said no.

On the Stassi podcast, her friend Taylor Strecker addressed the current season of HBO’s And Just Like That.

“I know plenty of cool people in their fifties who I aspire to be like, and I can’t believe that this crew of people … give me no hope for the future,” said Taylor, via @byewighellodrama on Instagram. “Honestly, it’s bad.”

“It’s like watching The Valley,” said Stassi.

Her friend agreed, “Yeah, [The Valley] makes you sad, right? You watch [and] you’re like, damn, that’s some sad s**t.”

“Yeah,” said Stassi. “And it doesn’t have to be that way.”

Taylor then suggested that the show doesn’t truly represent the age demographic of young parents in San Fernando Valley.

“Yes,” Stassi continued. “Some of us are out here not being like this, okay? … I’m not [going to keep watching it]. I’m out … I have every night been presented with the opportunity to watch an episode and I’ve still chosen no, [even] knowing we were gonna [discuss it on] this podcast … I’m like, I don’t think I can do this to myself.”

According to Stassi, just seeing clips of the season on social media was “enough” for her to realize that she doesn’t want to watch it.

“No,” she said. “No thanks.”

Last January, Stassi shared that she was asked to join The Valley.

“They filmed a sizzle reel to like show what this show would be. So once this idea was brought up, and they were like, ‘Okay, we’re gonna film a sizzle with all the people that would be on it. Will you be on it and film the sizzle?’ And every fiber of my being voted, ‘No,’” she explained at the time on Jeff Lewis Live. “First of all, it wouldn’t be a reflection of what my reality is. I’m not friends with any, you know, it’s just, it’s not my group of friends … I’m friendly with some of them. I’m acquaintances with some of them and some of the new ones too I think are lovely, but it’s not my crew.”
