Slightly lower rain chances mid-week

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Overnight storms have faded away and will leave us with a mostly dry morning and afternoon. Temperatures will warm into the mid-90s under mostly sunny skies.

Clouds will move in through the afternoon and rain chances will increase to a 30%.

Spotty storms will drift toward the coast this evening and more storms are possible overnight as well.

Rain chances increase to a 40% Wednesday and will be highest Thursday and Friday this week.

Temperatures will stay quite warm all week with highs in the mid-90s and feels like temps 100-105 degrees each day.

The tropics remain quiet for now, with no new development expected in the next 7 days.
