FORT GORDON, Ga. () – For the last two weeks, Fort Gordon soldiers have been learning about cybersecurity in the annual Cyber Quest event.
Each year, the event is held on post. On Tuesday, they held the last day of the exercises that helps identify emerging technologies that enhance cyber and electronic warfare.
“We’re trying to deliver capabilities to the United States Army that makes them more lethal, makes them more survivable,” said Colonel Christian Haffey. “And in an environment like this, for an experiment, because it’s not an exercise, there is room for failure, there is room to provide feedback and how to improve that capability.”
“I’m definitely going to be taking some of the information back to base and talk to some people because there’s a few there’s a few pieces of equipment here that we can immediately apply,” said Specialist Quinton West.
Overall, Army Cyber Innovation tested and evaluated 15 technologies.
