TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Fourth of July is fast approaching, and many Tampa Bay residents will be celebrating in style as they attend the planned festivities that will be taking place across the area.

If you and your family are on the hunt to find something to do to celebrate the holiday, look no further. Here’s a list of Fourth of July events that are sure to spark your interest:

Tampa

Boom by the Bay

Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park will host the annual Boom by the Bay.

The event will kick off Friday, July 4, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Friends of the Riverwalk July 4th Boat Parade

Celebrate July 4th by attending the Friends of the Riverwalk July 4th annual Boat Parade, Water Ski Show, Blessing of the Fleet, and fireworks show!

The parade route will be similar to the holiday light boat parade but includes a Water Ski Show in two locations. Additionally, the theme for this year’s boat parade is Salute to the Service.

The parade will start at 6 p.m.

Star Spangled Sparkman

Sparkman Wharf is hosting its 7th annual Star Spangled Sparkman event!

This will kick off Friday, July 4, at 5 p.m.

The family-friendly event will include live entertainment, delicious food and drinks, and a grand fireworks finale at 9 p.m.

Catch the Spirit & Celebrate America

Catch the Spirit & Celebrate America 4th of July Festival returns for the second year to the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds.

The festival kicks off at 1 p.m. and is packed with exciting activities, lively contests, a variety of fantastic food, an antique car show, and live entertainment.

A patriotic drone show will light up the sky at 9 p.m. and then stick around for the afterparty which will carry on until 11 p.m.

Tickets are $15 per car.

Temple Terrace

The city of Temple Terrace will be hosting its 50th annual 4th of July Celebration.

The Independence Day Parade kicks off at 10 a.m. July 4, starting at Whiteway Drive and Gilette Avenue and ending near the Temple Terrace Elementary School.

Festivities will continue at 6 p.m. on the 1st Fairway of the Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club where attendees can enjoy live music by the Black Velvet Band, and food served by a variety of vendors.

The celebration ends with a spectacular fireworks display at 9:15 p.m.

St. Petersburg

St. Pete Run Fest

Start your July 4 festivities with the St. Pete Pier’s four-mile fun run.

The event starts at 6:30 a.m and 7:45 a.m. on Friday, July 4.

Red, White & Views on the pier

Later, locals and tourists alike are invited to celebrate Independence Day at the St. Pete Pier from Friday, July 4, to Saturday, July 5.

This annual celebration will feature fun activities for all ages including a craft beer garden, family fun zone, food trucks and vendors, live music, a water ski performance, and fireworks.

The festivities begin Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. with fireworks starting at 9 p.m. They will resume Saturday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. with the waterfront show beginning promptly at 4:30 p.m.

Largo

The city of Largo’s Fourth of July Celebration will take place in Largo Central Park on Friday, July 4, starting at 6 p.m.

Family and friends can enjoy delicious food, a variety of food, crafts, activities, live music, and a dazzling fireworks display which will begin at 9 p.m.

Treasure Island

Celebrate Independence Day by painting the sky with a splash of color with fireworks over Treasure Island beach. The celebration will take place July 4 around 9 p.m.

Bring a beach chair or a towel and kick back to enjoy the show. The best viewing areas will be near the Gulf Front Park area on the beach.

Off-site parking will be available at Treasure Island Park for $20 per vehicle.

Clearwater

The city of Clearwater will return to Coachman Park for its annual Fourth of July holiday celebration.

The activities will begin at 5 p.m. with fireworks starting at 9:15 p.m.

A silent disco party will be held at The BayCare Sound from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

There will also be a free patriotic performance by the Coachman Pops Orchestra at 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Bradenton and Palmetto

The cities of Bradenton and Palmetto come together this year to celebrate Independence Day and highlight their family-friendly celebrations taking place on both sides of the Green Bridge.

From Rossi Park in Bradenton to Palmetto’s Riverside Park, the entire waterfront will be bustling with patriotic spirit, live music, and fun for all ages.

Festivities at Rossi Park and Riverfront Park will kick off at 5 p.m. with a Fireworks Finale taking place at 9 p.m. from the Green Bridge Pier.

Venice

The city of Venice’s annual Independence Day Fireworks Display will light up the gulf skies on July 4 starting at 9:15 p.m.

The show will launch from North Brohard Beach, just north of the Venice Fishing Pier.
