Loren Ruch, co-host of “HGTV House Party” and head of content on the home improvement channel, died June 12 after battling leukemia, reports say. He was 55.

“Known for his unwavering dedication, endless kindness, and unshakeable integrity, Loren built not only hit shows but enduring relationships, serving as mentor, advocate and true friend to countless colleagues across the television landscape. His impact stretched far beyond the screen,” Channing Dungey, chair of Warner Bros. Television Group, wrote in a memo obtained by Variety and Today.com.

Ruch had been battling acute myeloid leukemia for at least a year, according to his social media.
