Ariana Biermann, who grew up on reality TV as Kim Zolciak’s daughter on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, now stars in Next Gen NYC, Bravo’s series focused on the lives of Bravolebrities’ children in New York. Alongside Ariana are Gia Giudice, Riley Burruss, and Brooks Marks.

In the premiere episode, Ariana opened up during a dinner with her boyfriend Hudson McLeroy about the financial chaos within her family. When discussing her mom Kim, Ariana reflected on how she was taught to enjoy luxury, like fine wine—but pointed out that Kim can no longer afford that lifestyle.

Ariana revealed in a confessional that she had been working since she was 14, landing brand deals and getting paid significantly for Instagram posts. However, she shockingly claimed that her parents took all the money she earned and left her with nothing to show for it.

“I have been on TV since I was five years old. I did reality television with my family. And then I started posting on Instagram. I got my first brand deal when I was 14. I was doing like three posts a week. You get paid astronomical to do a story or to do an Instagram post and I made quite a bit of money. … But unfortunately, my parents took my money.”

She only discovered the truth two years ago, stating that there was no transparency and she still doesn’t know how much she made or where it went.

Ariana also revealed that even during times when the family faced foreclosure, no one was honest with her. Feeling betrayed, she moved to New York to escape the dysfunction.

Despite the past, Ariana continues to financially support her mom, especially because of her four younger siblings. She admitted that Kim still asks her for money, and she sends it—even though it’s difficult to track how it’s spent.

“I never want money to destroy a relationship with my family. Ever.”

Hudson McLeroy Says It “Upsets” Him

Hudson, Ariana’s boyfriend, expressed frustration over the financial situation. He believes Ariana should not feel obligated to give money to parents who already misused her earnings in the past. Ariana acknowledged that their disagreements over money have caused tension, and she sometimes doesn’t even tell him when Kim asks for help.

“It’s not my business; it’s our business,” Hudson told Ariana, urging her to set boundaries.

After the episode aired, Ariana faced criticism for speaking publicly about her family. In response, she took to social media to clarify her intentions. Ariana emphasized that both of her parents were responsible for taking her money, and she isn’t trying to vilify them.

“In no way was this me trying to bash my parents. I wouldn’t be here without them. I hold no hatred in my heart.”

She explained that money has the power to tear families apart, and she’s committed to not letting that happen. Ariana also teased that upcoming episodes would show how she’s worked to overcome the situation and protect herself financially moving forward.
