Homegrown rock legends AC/DC will bring their tour to Australia later this year for the first time in a decade.

The band will be performing the 2025 POWER UP Tour! at stadiums in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide in November and December.

Melbourne-based rockers Amyl and the Sniffers will be the support act for the Australian tour, which will take place following shows in the US and Europe.

AC/DC will perform at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on November 12, Accor Stadium in Sydney on November 21, the BP Adelaide Grand Final on November 30, Optus Stadium in Perth on December 4 and will finish up at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on December 14.

Tickets will go on sale this Thursday, June 26 and Ticketek has advised fans to be prepared as it’s expected the seats will be a hot commodity.

Those hoping to score tickets have been warned to update their details on the Ticketek app and to use just one device and browser to access tickets on the day.

The Ticketek lounge will open one hour before the sale time for each city.

Melbourne tickets will go on sale 1pm AEST, Sydney tickets at 9am AEST, Perth tickets at 1pm AWST and Brisbane tickets at 11am AEST.

Adelaide tickets won’t be sold through Ticketek and will instead be available from 10am ACST through Ticketmaster.

Ticket prices range between $132.45 for B-reserve seating and $407.70 for ultimate A-reserve seating.

Melbourne City Council will also put in a bid for the band to recreate its iconic It’s a Long Way to the Top music video, which was famously filmed on Swanson Street in 1976.
