JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A robbery ended in a shooting on the city’s Northside Sunday night, sending one man to the hospital, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Around 9 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 11600 block of Hickory Oak Drive regarding a person shot. The victim was self-transported to the hospital and is in non-life-threatening condition.
Police said the initial investigation found the victim was approached by an unknown suspect, robbed and shot twice.
The suspect fled the scene on foot, police said.
