HUNTER Biden has been sued for over $50,000 in unpaid legal bills, but the former first son might have trouble paying up.

The new lawsuit against Biden, 55, comes after he admitted earlier this year that he’s millions of dollars in debt and without a permanent home following his dad’s exit from the White House.

Winston & Strawn, the law firm that represented Biden in his Delaware gun trial and other federal investigations, said he owes “substantially in excess of $50,000,” according to a lawsuit filed in Washington DC on June 20.

Last year, Biden was found guilty of three felony gun charges after a Delaware jury found he lied about his drug usage on a federal firearm form in 2018.

The lawsuit says the firm provided Biden “with extensive legal services in those matters which generated a substantial amount of fees” after they were hired, according to the New York Post.

Winston & Strawn claims Biden has only paid a part of the bill and has dodged their efforts to collect payment for their services.

“Despite repeated requests for payment, Mr. Biden has failed to pay the amounts he owes,” the complaint said.

The firm went on to say, “While some of Mr. Biden’s bills were paid between March 2023 and October 2024, a substantial amount remains due and owing.

“Mr. Biden never objected to any of W&S’s invoices for the legal services rendered to him.”

As of April 30, 2025, Biden owed more than $50,000, the complaint said.

Winston & Strawn declined to comment when approached by The U.S. Sun.

Following Biden’s conviction last year, the former president pardoned his son just weeks before Donald Trump was inaugurated.

However, the pardon didn’t save Biden from massive unpaid debts, as he recently claimed he was broke in a bombshell court filing.

In March, Biden asked a federal judge to drop his laptop hacking lawsuit against former Trump aide Garrett Ziegler because he couldn’t afford it anymore.

He admitted he was “several million dollars in debt” due to plunging sales of his memoir and his artwork.

SIGNIFICANT DEBT

Biden started painting while in recovery from drug addiction.

He profited nearly $1.5 million during his dad’s campaign and the start of his presidency, he said in the court filing.

“In the 2 to 3 years prior to December 2023, I sold 27 pieces of art at an average price of $54,481.48,” Biden’s attorneys said in the affidavit.

But he was left high and dry when his art stopped selling.

He claimed that since December 2023, he’s only sold one piece of art for $36,000.

“Given the positive feedback and reviews of my artwork and memoir, I was expecting to obtain paid speaking engagements and paid appearances, but that has not happened,” Biden wrote.

He said his financial situation was made worse by the wildfires that devastated Southern California earlier this year.

Biden said the fires made his rental house unlivable, “and, like many others in that situation, I am having difficulty in finding a new permanent place to live.”

It was later revealed that his rental house didn’t burn down, but that he couldn’t access it due to the fires, according to ABC News.

It’s unclear if Biden has found a new place to live.

His attorney, Abbe Lowell, didn’t immediately return The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.

Biden is set to face an initial court hearing for Winston & Strawn’s lawsuit on September 19.
