Summer House Season 9 has come to a close just as the tenth season is about to film (as of this article’s publishing). This season was a transitional one for many of the cast members, as relationships came and went, and careers took off.

After the reunion, Paige DeSorbo initiated a theoretical conversation about the future of Summer House when she announced her departure from the show. Without one of the main cast members, fans on social media debated who should stay for the benefit of the show and who should leave.

Here’s Who Should Stay And Who Should Leave Summer House

There’s a time for every reality TV cast member when enough is enough, and it’s time to move on from their series and branch out on their own. There’s a way to skillfully launch personal successes outside the series, and then there are ways to remain stagnant.

Vanderpump Rules is a great example of cast members not realizing it’s their time to leave the series and focus on personal projects. The cast members outgrew the series and no longer appeared interested in filming. Summer House cast members should take note for Season 10.

Paige DeSoebo (Officially Not Returning)

In June 2025, Paige announced that she was leaving Summer House. The influencer and podcaster was a beloved part of the series with iconic one-liners and amazing moments in bed with Ciara Miller.

Now that she’s not returning, the series will look different, but her career is just getting started. The rise of her podcast, Giggly Squad, her social media partnerships, and her New York Times Best-Selling book (How to Giggle) prove she was ready to leave Summer House and continue on an upward trajectory.

Lindsay Hubbard (Officially Returning)

After nine seasons, it was presumed Lindsay Hubbard wouldn’t return to Summer House after having her daughter. Spending weekends partying in the Hamptons could make things difficult for the new mom, but it looks like she’s returning after all.

Lindsay shared on Instagram, “BFFR of course I’m coming back this summer.” Lindsay continued, “Just going to look a little different for me since I’m a whole a*s mom now.”

Because of Lindsay’s new direction in life, it would have been an understanding move to switch gears and move on from the series. A spinoff featuring Lindsay, Paige, and Ciara Miller would be appreciated and beloved by the fans — a modern-day Sex and the City.

Amanda Batula And Kyle Cooke (Officially Returning)

Married couple Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke made a statement to Page Six in June that they are returning for the tenth season. “Yes, we’re coming back,” Kyle announced. “We feel very lucky to keep doing our thing. I think it should be a good summer.”

Amanda had previously shared what her and Kyle’s future looked like regarding coming back for another season:

“I would think, in my perfect world, one of two things would happen. It’s either Summer House evolves with us and looks different in terms of people being married and having children, and it just becomes a different show.” The cast member told Television Academy. “Or Summer House continues with the singles, and there’s a The Valley–type breakout. But again, I don’t make the decisions.”

US Magazine shared that Kyle was most likely returning to round out the whole series. “I feel like we have to do a season 10. A nice, round 10. We’re all at different stages in our lives. Paige is recently single. There’s always something interesting going on, there’s always something new.”

Being married, Amanda and Kyle are a tag-team duo. While both have their multi-million-dollar business, Loverboy, to fall back on, they both deserve to remain on the series, so fans can follow their journey into potential parenthood and side gigs.

Ciara Miller (Unknown)

Ciara Miller deserves to come back for Season 10. Not only is she beloved by fans, but most of her story hasn’t been shared with fans. The model and nurse opened up about her bumpy family life during the Season 9 reunion, making it the first time Ciara let her guard down.

Although she should return to the series, it’s unknown if she is.

Lexi Wood And Imrum Hassan (Officially Not Returning)

Season 9 was Lexi Wood’s Summer House debut. However, the season will be Lexi’s one and only. “I’m leaving Summer House with no regrets (well … maybe one.) I’m proud of the way I handled myself, proud of what I walked away from, and even prouder of what I’m walking toward…,” she wrote on Instagram.

Lexi made the right decision to not return to Summer House. Her storyline revolved around her relationship with Jesse Solomon, and she didn’t form a real connection with the other cast members.

Imrul Hassan was also new to the series, but rarely appeared in episodes or made deep friendships. After the Season 9 reunion, he announced his departure.

Carl Radke (Officially Returning)

Carl Radke shared on Instagram that he’s returning for Season 10. The cast member has been a part of the series since the start and is now opening his own bar, Soft Bar. Seeing his dream come to fruition (along with his dating life post-Lindsay Hubbard) is something fans want to see on TV.

Jesse Solomon And West Wilson (Unknown)

Jesse and West are the duo that deserves to be back on Summer House. The newer castmates are young, single, and well-liked by fans. Bravo should think about centering the future of Summer House around Jesse and West, and let Kyle and Amanda phase out as the nucleus of the group. As of this publication, neither Jesse nor West have announced their return (yet), but have hinted at it on Chicks in the Office.

Gabby Prescod (Unknown)

Although Gabby has been a part of Summer House since Season 7, not much is known about her personal life on a deeper level. Because we’re approaching Season 10, it’s best to cut ties with Gabby and cast someone more interactive with the group.

Summer House Needs A Spinoff

Season 10 of Summer House should focus on the newer cast mates as the veteran cast members phase out. Meanwhile, there should be a Sex and the City-inspired spinoff centered around Paige DeSorbo, Ciara Miller, and Lindsay Hubbard.

• Since Paige DeSorbo is no longer a part of the series, she could be the focal point of the spinoff while her friends, Ciara and Lindsay, show viewers their day-to-day lives in New York City instead of the Hamptons.

Although Lindsay signed on for Season 10 of Summer House, there’s enough content to have her in a spinoff as well.

Ciara’s future on the series is unknown, but following her blossoming modeling career closely as she entertained dating and friendships with Paige and Lindsay would be a great spinoff.
