Three victims were inside Ogden Park when they were shot by an unknown offender, police said.

A 25-year-old man was shot multiple times, a 32-year-old woman was shot in the chest and leg, and a 37-year-old man was shot multiple times. They were all take to the University of Chicago Hospital, initially reported to be in serious condition, CPD said.

The crime scene had bloodied clothes, hats and shoes abandoned in the street.

Investigators appeared to be focusing on a black sedan left with its doors open on a street near the park’s swimming pool.

At least a dozen Chicago police officers were pacing the scene, examining evidence, and ABC7 could see more than a dozen orange cones marking evidence and bullet casings.

ABC7 spoke to several men from a violence interrupters group who showed up just after the shooting who work in the Englewood community.

“We’re trying to piece it together and figure out what happened so we can try to stop any retaliation so nobody else gets shot in our community,” said Jason Perry with Integrity & Fidelity Peacekeepers. “This goes on a lot, but we kind of try our best to keep it down as much as possible.”

No arrests have been made as Chicago police continue to investigate.
