She’s baaaaack. And by “she,” of course, we mean everyone’s favorite killer AI doll, Megan, in M3GAN 2.0, which opens in theaters this weekend.

In 2023, the quirky horror movie M3GAN became a sensation worldwide. Viewers were captivated by the witty, dancing, murderous AI doll, embodied by Amie Donald and voiced by Jenna Davis. Now, director Gerard Johnstone is returning with a sequel that guarantees even more outrageous and shareable scenes. M3GAN 2.0 continues the story two years after the original film. Gemma (Allison Williams) and her adopted daughter Cady (Violet McGraw) have successfully imprisoned the malevolent M3GAN entity inside a harmless doll. However, when a new AI doll menace named AMELIA (Ivanna Sakhno) emerges, Gemma and Cady are forced to seek assistance from their former adversary.

Also starring Aristotle Athari, Timm Sharp, and Jemaine Clement, M3GAN 2.0 is sure to be a fun watch in the movie theater. But when will Megan 2 be streaming? Read on to find out what we know about where to watch Megan 2.0 and when we expect to be able to watch Megan 2.0 streaming on Peacock.

Where to watch the Megan 2.0 movie:

M3GAN 2.0 will only available to watch in a movie theater, when it opens in the U.S. on Friday, June 27, in theaters nationwide. You can find a showing near you via Fandango. M3GAN 2.0 is not yet available to watch online or on streaming.

Is the Megan 2.0 movie streaming on Netflix or Amazon Prime?

M3GAN 2.0 is not streaming on Netflix, and likely will not be on Netflix any time soon, due to the fact that the film is a Universal release. Almost all Universal movies go to the NBCUniversal streaming platform, Peacock.

You will be able to purchase M3GAN 2.0 on Prime Video eventually, when the movie becomes available to buy and rent on digital, but you will not be able to stream M3GAN 2.0 for free on Prime Video any time soon, because it is not a Prime original movie. If you want to watch the M3GAN 2.0 movie at home, you’ll have to wait for the film to be available to buy or rent on digital platforms, or wait for it to stream on Peacock.

Peacock currently offers two subscription types: Premium with ads and Premium Plus ad-free. Peacock Premium costs $7.99/month, while Premium Plus costs $13.99/month.

You can save a bit by subscribing to one of Peacock’s annual plans, which give you 12 months for the price of 10. These cost either $79.99 with ads or $139.99 without ads.

Is the M3GAN 2.0 movie streaming on Peacock?

M3GAN 2.0 is not yet streaming on Peacock. Right now, the movie is only in theaters, and the Megan 2.0 streaming release date on Peacock has not yet been announced. That said, we do expect to see M3GAN 2.0 streaming on Peacock eventually, but we’re not sure when. Another Universal release, The Woman in the Yard, will be streaming on Peacock on June 27, which was about three months after the movie opened in theaters, and about two months after the film released on digital.

If M3GAN 2.0 follows a similar release pattern, you might see the movie on digital by late July or early August 2025, and streaming on Peacock around late September or early October 2025.

This is all speculation. Universal has not had a consistent digital release strategy. Nosferatu, for example, took just two months to stream on Peacock, rather than three. So it’s possible you’ll see M3GAN 2.0 streaming on Peacock by August 2025. But if you want to watch the M3GAN 2.0 movie right away, your best bet is to catch the movie in theaters.
