Season 9 of Summer House welcomed three new cast members — Imrul Hassan, Baliee Henderson, and Lexi Wood — bringing a wave of fresh energy to the Hamptons. Fans were excited to see new faces join familiar favorites like OGs Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Carl Radke, and Lindsay Hubbard.

However, the transition wasn’t seamless for the newcomers. Bailee disappeared from the season early, Imrul gained a reputation for his late-night hook-ups rather than building connections with his housemates, and Lexi’s brief romance with Jesse Soloman quickly fizzled before the summer ended. While some viewers expected Lexi to return as a single woman ready to bond with the ladies, especially since she didn’t establish many friendships, she ultimately chose to leave the series after just one season.

Season 9 of Summer House introduced model Lexi Wood to the shared Hamptons house, and she was a breath of fresh air thanks to her fun and bubbly personality. However, her summer turned out to be one she might rather forget. Most of her time on the show revolved around her whirlwind romance with co-star Jesse Soloman. It was a relationship that quickly unraveled thanks to a mix of his half-truths and a now-infamous toe-sucking incident. Because Lexi was so wrapped up in Jesse, she missed the opportunity to truly bond with her housemates, including the ladies.

After the end of Season 9, Wood announced that she was not going to return to the show. Her fellow co-star, Amanda Batula — who got her on the show — shared in an interview with The New York Post that it was a sad loss that Lexi was not returning.

Stating that she had read Lexi’s announcement, she told the outlet: “I just saw the post a little bit ago. I had to read it twice over. And I asked Kyle, I was like, ‘Does this mean that she’s not coming back?’ I was confused with the way it was worded. And he’s like, ‘Yeah, don’t think that she’s coming back.’ So that’s a bummer, too.'”

Amanda continued, “Also, I think it’s unfortunate how it all played out with the Jesse [Solomon] stuff. Lexi and I knew each other before,” she continued. “I think It would have been great to have a girl summer, but I can’t control what people decide to do.”

Lexi Wood Has Dated High-Profiled Stars Like Brooklyn Beckham

Lexi was an intriguing addition to Summer House, and it’s unfortunate she chose to exit after just one season. Viewers didn’t get to see Lexi shine on the reality show, but viewers did see just a small snippet of her personal life that included her close-knit bond with her mom and sister, and a glimpse into her modeling career.

Having spent her entire summer with Jesse and see their relationship drama unfold, fans were left wanting to know more of who Lexi really was.

When Lexi did enter the Hamptons house, Paige DeSorbo noted that Lexi was known for dating Brooklyn Beckham, the son of soccer legend David Beckham and Spice Girls singer, Victoria Beckham. Amanda chimed in to state that Lexi also had a relationship with “Kaia Gerber’s brother,” Presley Geber.

Fans quickly took to the internet to learn more about Lexi’s dating history and her romances with both Brooklyn and Prelsey turned out to be true. In 2018, she was photographed hanging out with Brooklyn, although they never confirmed or denied their romantic connection.

Towards the end of 2022, Lexi entered into a relationship with Presley, the son of model Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber. According to People, the two were smitten with each other, with Lexi even declaring that she was in love in an Instagram post in November of that year. “if you didn’t already know, I’m in love,” she wrote. However, their romance ended the following month.

Lexi Wasn’t The Only Newbie That Chose To Leave The Show

Shortly after Paige DeSorbo announced she was leaving Summer House after five seasons, Lexi followed suit. In her farewell statement, the model shared that “big things” where coming her way, and also threw a little shade at Jesse.

“Well… That wasn’t the summer I signed up for but it definitely taught me a lot,” Wood began. “I stood up for women and for what’s right. Even when it wasn’t easy and I’d do that again in a heartbeat. I’m leaving Summer House with no regrets (well… maybe one 😉). I’m proud of the way I handled myself, proud of what I walked away from, and even prouder of what I’m walking toward. Big things are coming! Stay tuned! 💋✨.”

Interestingly, all the newcomers from Season 9 will not return to Summer House. Imrul, who became known for bringing home multiple women during his stay in the Hamptons, also announced he was leaving the show after just one season.

In a June Instagram Story, he wrote, “Hi y’all, I meant to share this last week, but with everything going on, the timing didn’t feel quite right. I’ve decided not to return for another season of Summer House — I know, shocking!”

Additionally, Baliee was seen in the first few episodes of Season 9, with Lexi noting that she may have had “boyfriend issues” back in the city. Bailee did return in Episode 8 when the cast took part in a kickball game, but that was all. It’s really no surprise that she will not be making a return for Season 10. She recently announced in an Instagram post that she was engaged to her now fiancé, with both Amanda and Ciara congratulating her in the comment section.
