Gabrielle Union’s daughter Kaavia James just hit a major milestone and may have revealed her future Hollywood plans in the process.

The 6-year-old recently graduated from kindergarten; however, before the actual moment, you have to have a practice run. In a now-viral TikTok posted by the Bring It On alum, Kaavia proudly rocked a yellow cap and stole, preparing for the big day. But it was what came after she accepted her practice diploma that was truly a Kaavia James moment.

She made an announcement, “I’d like to be an actor,” she declared. And no, according to her mother, this wasn’t a rehearsed performance for the timeline.

“I swear this was not rehearsed,” Gabrielle wrote at the top of the clip. “Caught Kaav in 4K, but trust me, I can’t make this up,” she added in the caption.

Fans online couldn’t help but laugh and cheer on the little one’s declaration after all, it’s not every day that your mom has a resume that boasts box office hits like 10 Things I Hate About You, Bad Boys II, Deliver us from Eva, and many more on her resume.

The big kindergarten moment didn’t go unnoticed by the proud parents either. Earlier this month, Union shared a heartfelt tribute to her daughter’s graduation, alongside husband NBA legend, Dwyane Wade.

“From brave beginnings to big milestones, Kaav, you’ve learned, grown, and blazed your way through kindergarten,” Gabrielle captioned a photo of Kaavia in her official cap and gown. “Next up: 1st grade – and a whole new world of discoveries!”

She closed the post like only a proud mama can, “The journey is just beginning, and we’re seated right beside you for the ride.”

Kaavia, often lovingly referred to as “Shady Baby” for her expressive personality and side-eye perfection, has grown up in front of our eyes. Whether she’s really headed for the big screen or just stealing scenes at graduation, one thing’s clear, this young lady has got the charisma and confidence of a future icon.
