Teen Mom alum Jenelle Evans isn’t impressed with men professing their love for someone through tattoos.
After David Eason spent part of his weekend getting a tattoo of girlfriend Kenleigh Heatwole’s name on his shoulder, Evans, 33, seemingly responded to her ex’s new ink.
“I’ve got peoples name tattooed on me twice and regretted it. Had to get it covered, been there done that. #Embarassing,” she wrote via X on Saturday, June 28. “And when he asked me to do it, I said ‘HELL NO.’ Been there done that twice to myself.”
After reading a post that proclaimed, “Tattooing your significant others name is the ultimate relationship jinx,” Evans shared the message and added, “Scream it louder!!”
On Saturday, Eason, 37, took to social media and revealed his latest tattoo.
“Do you even love your girl? Not if you didn’t get her name tattooed on you!” he wrote via Instagram. “Love you forever and always @kenleighheat ♥️♥️♥️ Thanks @slowdownlouu at @modernink910 for doing such a great job!”
While some followers commented on how happy Eason looked, others questioned why he was getting such a personal tattoo.
“How about an ‘Ensley’ tattoo instead of your most current girlfriend? You know, Ensley, your daughter?!” one fan wrote in the comments section.
Eason replied, “That’s going to be an expensive tattoo bc I have a plan for that one. Send me the money, I’ll get it right now.”
On Sunday, June 29, Evans faced some criticism from a few followers who wondered why she was tweeting about her ex.
“Imagine if David was tweeting about you getting someone’s name on your neck (for days). You’d be screaming that he was obsessed,” one user wrote via X. “He doesn’t give a single s*** about you and it’s making you spiral.”

Evans replied, “And I was replying about someone tattooing their finger. You’re off track.”
Soon after, however, she addressed Eason’s tattoo when one follower wrote, “Kenleigh is going to look so silly when David drops her to come back to you and Ensley. Then you will have the last laugh!”
Evans added, “Yo.. your tweets are always funny AF but that would never happen.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Heatwole for comment.
In March 2024, Evans filed for separation from Eason after six years of marriage. On June 12, the former Teen Mom 2 star headed to Spearmint Rhino in New York and enjoyed a divorce party complete with friends, cake and a 3-foot piñata modeled after her ex-husband’s face.
While Eason has moved on with someone new, Evans said she is more focused on her businesses than jumping into the dating world.
“I’ve always jumped from relationship to relationship, so I feel like this is the best time for me to finally learn to be alone,” she exclusively shared with Us Weekly before her divorce party. “[I can] tell myself it’s OK to be alone and just focus on your kids and you don’t need to always have a man there beside you.”
