AC Milan have officially unveiled their new home kit for the 2025/26 season – and it’s drawing inspiration from the club’s legendary “devil” identity.

The striking design features Milan’s iconic red and black stripes engulfed in flames, creating a bold visual tribute to one of the club’s founding fathers, Herbert Kilpin.

In a statement, Milan explained the kit “pays tribute to one of the historic symbols of the club.” Kilpin, who founded Milan in 1899 after moving from England, famously envisioned the team as a “team of devils,” once declaring: “Our colors will be red like flames and black to invoke fear in our opponents.”

Now, that vision takes shape not only on the pitch but also in the club’s latest look, which includes a fiery red crest and flame graphics across the front of the jersey.

The kit launch was accompanied by a dramatic reveal video, featuring star players such as Christian Pulisic and Kyle Walker modelling the new strip amid a setting resembling the scorched depths of hell.

Marco Mueller, PUMA’s Senior Director of Product Line Management Teamsport Apparel, praised the concept: “We’re very excited to be unveiling a kit that is so synonymous with the original vision and core principles of AC Milan, one that has since resonated with millions across the globe.

“This kit is sure to remind everyone of the fear this team can distill in the opposition and ensure the Rossoneri bring the heat from the sidelines.”

The Rossoneri will debut the kit on May 24, 2025, in their final Serie A match of the season against Monza.

The 2025/26 home shirt is now available in AC Milan Official Stores, online at store.acmilan.com, at PUMA stores, PUMA.com, and select global retailers.

Whether or not the strip will strike fear into the hearts of their opponents remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure — it’s a hell of a kit.
