The star also shared a glimpse at his weight-incorporated gym routine and one of his meals.

It prompted one person to comment, ‘Ryan, I respect you love for fitness and eating well… But you’re looking pretty gaunt.’

On a brighter note, it was added, ‘But you look happy, which is fantastic!’

‘Ryan, you’re getting too skinny!’ another said, adding a smiley face and red heart emoji.

One social media user warned, ‘Ryan, I adore you, but… the BIG but…. you are looking too thin. Sometimes being thin can age a person.’

Another person compared him to another celebrity known for his thin stature, adding to the thread: ‘Damn I thought this was Marc Anthony for a sec.’

‘Wow Ryan is looking very thin,’ someone else pointed out plainly.

‘What is going on here?’ a fan demanded to know, adding, ‘Something looks off.’

There were also people in the comments who supported Seacrest and slammed his critics.

‘I just think it’s rude to tell someone they are too skinny. I get told this a lot and I cannot help it with medication I am on. Be positive and encouraging, y’all,’ a fan encouraged.

Another angrily clapped back, ‘IT IS NOT OK TO COMMENT ON SOMEONES BODY. Period. Just because he is a man/celebrity. THIS IS HIS PERSONAL ACCOUNT.

‘He is a real human who has feelings and ages and CHANGES. Your concern for him is laced in judgment and is just plain rude. … Would you say these things to his face? Then don’t say them here.’

A source told Page Six of Ryan’s slimmed down look, ‘Ryan has recently been doing a new workout routine — working out with a new trainer, Dodd Romero, combined with Pilates and yoga for the first time.

‘That’s created a visible change.’

The insider additionally noted, ‘He’s also been enjoying vacation time this summer and eating lots of pasta.’

Seacrest has been open about his past body image issues over the years. He previously revealed that he was ‘overweight’ as a child.

At just 13-years-old, Seacrest ballooned to 180 pounds due to poor diet and a sedentary lifestyle.

‘I was overweight because I used to come home and eat a cookie sheet of nachos and watch Oprah every day of my life,’ he told fans back in 2006.

He has also shared stories about swimming with his shirt on and shopping in the plus-size section of a retail store.

‘I also remember at times being teased about it and because of that it’s still in my brain,’ he previously said. ‘I never want to feel that way again, and that motivates me to strive hard for balance without cutting anything that I truly enjoy, but while also knowing I can’t have it all the time.’

In 2022, Seacrest confessed that he is still affected by the bullying he faced about his weight as a kid.

‘I was teased for it, and I will always see that little boy when I look in the mirror,’ he said on a 2022 episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan.

‘I cannot get past it, I’ve talked to our experts about it, but for some reason, I just cannot see that guy.’

As a result, Seacrest spends ‘a great deal of time fixating on what [he’s] eating and what [he’s] not eating and when [he’s] eating and how much [he’s] eating and how many times of day [he’s] eating,’ according to his co-host Kelly Ripa.

She added: ‘It makes it so much more important and then you feel bad and then you go into a shame spiral and then you make yourself hungry for foods that are bad for you.’

Seacrest has followed a Mediterranean diet for many years, which is extremely health-focused and, according to the Cleveland Clinic, ’emphasizes plant-based foods and healthy fats.’

‘It speaks to me because it’s fun,’ Seacrest told PEOPLE in 2023. ‘You look forward to it. It’s fresh things, it’s simple cooking.

‘It’s really just eating smart foods — simple — but you like it.’

To help with ‘weight loss’ and ‘inflammation,’ Seacrest said that he has ‘a shot of olive oil in the morning before my coffee every day.’

Despite following such a strict diet, Seacrest insisted at the time that he is ‘not that hard on [himself].’

Ahead of his 50th birthday last year, Seacrest admitted that he was ‘over-exercising, eating better, over-training’ in order to get in tiptop shape.

The star told ET in October 2024 that he hoped his efforts would help reverse the aging process and ‘make [himself] feel 29 again.’

‘I feel good because I can’t believe I’m turning 50. I’m doing everything I can to make myself feel like I’m not 50,’ he shared at the time.

Along with his extreme diet and workout regimen, Seacrest, who turned 50 on December 25, 2024, said he was also doing ‘lots of recovery, lots of muscle recovery.’
