Get ready to turn up the volume because The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder is officially back this summer!Disney+ just announced that Season 3 of the beloved animated revival will drop on Tuesday, August 6th.

And if that wasn’t enough to get your group chat buzzing, the series has already been renewed for a fourth season slated to hit in 2026. Disney is definitely keeping the party going!

Created by Bruce W. Smith and executive produced by Ralph Farquhar (the OG duo behind the original series), this new season is all about next-level adventures. We’re talking global escapes, outrageous antics, and lessons that hit you in the heart.

Of course, Penny Proud and her iconic crew, Dijonay, LaCienega, Zoey, Maya, and Michael, are right at the center of it all once again. Additionally, there are several famous voices that will be joining in on the fun, turning this new season into something truly phenomenal. Newcomers Janelle James, Sanaa Lathan, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Lynn Whitfield, Kirk Franklin, Adrienne Warren, and Bubba Wallace are stepping into the Proud-verse.

But, don’t worry, your faves are still in the mix too. Keke Palmer, Billy Porter, Zachary Quinto, Gabrielle Union, Tiffany Haddish, Lena Waithe, and even Chance the Rapper are back once again. The regular voice cast who will reprise their roles include: Kyla Pratt as Penny Proud, Tommy Davidson, Paula Jai Parker, JoMarie Payton, Cedric the Entertainer, and more.

Grammy-winning producer Roccstar is delivering 10 fresh original songs for the new season, while Kurt Farquhar returns to keep the soundtrack as iconic as ever.

The Louder and Prouder reboot continues to break barriers with representation, having already scooped up major accolades such as NAACP Image Awards, a Children’s and Family Emmy, and recognition from GLAAD and the Annie Awards.

Need a rewatch before August? Seasons 1 and 2, in addition to the original early-2000s classic, are all streaming now on Disney+. So grab your snacks, get comfy, and prepare to be loud, proud, and totally obsessed.
