According to authorities as reported by CBS Chicago, three individuals lost their lives, and 16 others sustained injuries during a shooting incident outside a nightclub in Chicago on Wednesday night.
The tragic event took place as a drive-by shooting unfolded outside the Artis Restaurant and Lounge nightclub situated on the 300 block of W Chicago Ave in the Near North Side neighborhood of Chicago.
Revelers were leaving the “high-end dining and nightlife destination” after an album release party for Chicago-based rapper Mello Buckzz.
The rapper advertised that the event was being held at a “private location,” which started at 7 p.m. local time.
