GBI investigating shooting in Glennville, one dead

GLENNVILLE, Ga. () — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is investigating a shooting that left one dead on July 6.

At around midnight, Glennville Police Department (GPD) responded to reports of a shooting on the area of Martin Luther King Drive between Boyd Street and Green Street.

After arriving on scene, they found Alvin Lashawn Williams, 32, with a gunshot wound.

Williams was transported to a local hospital where he later passed.

Two other individuals were found on scene, also suffering of gunshot wounds. They have been transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment.
