TikTok influencer Katelynn Ordone revealed being ‘shocked’ over the phone call she made after her two-year-old son Preston, who became a viral sensation for his adorable ‘OK’ videos, died in a tragic car accident.
Preston, who captured internet users’ hearts through viral videos shared by his influencer parents Katelynn and Jaelan Ordone, died after his family’s Ford F-150 truck slammed into a tree in rural Louisiana on April 24.
Police said Preston was ‘improperly restrained in a child safety seat’ when he passed away – a claim that’s been disputed by the family.
The Ordones’ older daughter, Paisley, seven, was not in the car at the time of the crash.
On Thursday, Katelynn posted a TikTok clip detailing a 19 minute phone call she had with her dad, Glen Norris, following the accident.
Katelynn shared that she has no memory of the ‘awful’ accident or ‘two to three days’ afterward due to the traumatic brain injury she suffered.
However, her father told her about a striking phone call she made, with Katelynn stating she was ‘shocked’ to learn what she said.

Katelynn shared how her father recounted to her that at one point she began reciting the Lord’s Prayer ‘perfectly.’
She recalled having to look up the Christian recitation’s words after he mentioned it.
‘I have heard of it. I recognize it when I hear it, but I did not — still do not — know it well enough to recite it perfectly,’ she told her viewers.
She added that hearing the story helped strengthen her faith and offered new hope.
‘Without God, I wouldn’t know that Preston’s at perfect peace right now,’ Katelynn said.
‘I still have a long journey, a long ways to go. I feel like I truly, truly could not get through this without [God].’
She also described the tragedy as ‘the hardest thing I’ve ever been through in my life.’
Describing the moments after the crash, she told her viewers: ‘The accident was awful, and somehow I was able to get my hold of my phone.’
‘I called 911 first. I was on the phone with them for five minutes. The only reason I know that is because I saw it in my call logs, and then my parents have told me that I called them.’
Katelynn stated she was able to send them her location and asked them to come, but was not able to tell then exactly where she was.
‘I was on the phone with my mom for about five minutes,’ Katelynn shared.

‘She said she could just hear the pain in my voice. I was groaning in pain, and she said she just couldn’t handle it anymore.’
Her mom then handed off the phone call to her father, and the two spoke for about 19 minutes.
‘My dad told me that he kept asking where I was, and I kept saying, “I don’t know” … He could hear people asking me if I had kids, and I was saying, “I don’t know.” I was just out of it,’ she recalled.
‘There was moments that I could talk, there was moments that I was just groaning and moaning in pain, and then there was moments of silence where I wasn’t talking at all.’
Her father then told her how she had recited the prayer.
It comes after her father Glen fiercely refuted the police-made claim that the toddler was not properly buckled into his car seat when he died in the tragic car wreck.
Police said Preston was ‘improperly restrained in a child safety seat’ when he passed away – a claim his grandfather, Glen, found deeply offensive.
In a Facebook post, Norris reportedly addressed the ‘hurtful and painful’ statements made by police.
He also spoke with NOLA, revealing Katelynn, Jaelan and Preston were on their way home from the doctor’s office when the truck veered off the road.
While speaking with the outlet, Norris reiterated that Preston was strapped in, saying he spoke with a witness who told him the baby was correctly restrained in his seat.

He added that reading what he claims was false information from the police department was infuriating.
Lisa Norris, Katelynn’s mother and Glen’s wife, has also spoken out to provide updates on her daughter and Jaelan’s conditions. The couple was rushed to separate hospitals after the crash.
When the accident occurred, Louisiana State Police confirmed the devastating news on social media, revealing the crash happened shortly before 11:50am in St. Tammany Parish, approximately 50 miles north of New Orleans.

‘Preston, who was seated in the rear, but improperly restrained in a child safety seat, also sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.’
As part of the ongoing investigation, a routine toxicology sample was collected from the driver for analysis.
In a heartbreaking TikTok update, family friend Melanie Matranga confirmed the tragedy and provided an update on the conditions of the parents.
