What is it with some people in California? Well, to be fair, there are people like this all over, but this instance was in California, some miles from the bucolic paradise of MacArthur Park.

In Ontario, California, Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers were engaged in a targeted operation to arrest two illegal aliens, when one of them broke free and ran into a medical facility – specifically, the

The post continues:

One of the illegal aliens, Denis Guillen-Solis who is from Honduras, fled on foot to evade law enforcement. He ended up near the Ontario Advanced Surgical Center where hospital staff assaulted law enforcement and drug the officer and illegal alien into the facility.

Then, the staff attempted to obstruct the arrest by locking the door, blocking law enforcement vehicles from moving, and even called the cops claiming there was a “kidnapping.”

The hospital staff assaulted law enforcement and attempted to frame the whole thing as a kidnapping. Really? A look at the video is instructive. The voice-over says:

And tonight, this video of a violent arrest in Ontario, we’re told this man, who may be a gardener, saw ICE and ran into the office of a surgical center before this incident. Employees would not tell us anything on the record, but they did say that everyone was shaken over the encounter.

Shaken, but not stirred, it seems, at least not stirred to stop interfering with law enforcement. Now, look at the wording of this KCal News video voice-over: “…we’re told this man, who may be a gardener…”

Did anyone tell this reporter that he was an illegal alien? That he was in the country illegally? Did anyone tell them that ICE was doing its job, enforcing federal immigration law, by detaining him? Did anyone tell the hospital staff that they were interfering with federal law enforcement who were performing their legal and constitutionally justified duties? The hospital staff apparently tried to call the police to report this as a “kidnapping.” The ICE officers, as is plain from the video, were wearing gear pronouncing their identity: “ICE” is clearly visible on one officer’s vest, even in this brief, poor-quality video. This wasn’t a kidnapping, and anyone with enough brains to pound sand knows that.
