One of them returned home to get his Mitsubishi Outlander, which he drove to Fernvale Road, police claim.

He allegedly deliberately struck the other man with the car, before continuing on.

A 30-year-old Brassall man was taken to hospital with life-threatening head injuries.

Police arrested a 26-year-old Brassall man on Caribou Drive a short time later.

He was charged with attempted murder and is due to face court today.
