Get ready demigods, Percy Jackson and the Olympians is coming back, and it looks like season two is about to crank the action all the way up to Mount Olympus.

Fans were recently gifted a sneak peek at the highly anticipated second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and let’s just say, it’s giving battle armor, major plot twists, and a whole lot of Camp Half-Blood chaos.

In a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it montage dropped by Disney+ as part of its “Coming This Year” teaser, a few exciting clips from season two were scattered in with upcoming shows. Among the gold? Literally, Walker Scobell (Percy) and Leah Sava Jeffries (Annabeth) can be seen suiting up in golden armor and getting battle ready. 

According to the official synopsis, per JustJaredJr.com, season two, kicks-off with Percy Jackson (Scobell) returning to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world turned upside down. His friendship with Annabeth (Sava Jeffries) is changing, he learns he has a cyclops for a brother, Grover (Aryan Simhadri) has gone missing, and camp is under siege from the forces of Kronos. Percy’s journey to set things right will take him off the map and into the deadly Sea of Monsters, where a secret fate awaits the son of Poseidon.

This season, Percy will dive, literally, into the Sea of Monsters to uncover secrets that will shake his world to the core. And if you’re a fan of the books, you already know, things are about to get wild.

Oh, and just in case that wasn’t enough to get you excited, 12 new actors are joining the cast this season, though details on who’s playing who are still under wraps. But with Rick Riordan’s mythology-packed universe, expect everything from gods and monsters to unexpected allies and ancient curses.
