Patrick Duffy is a familiar name to millions worldwide after shooting into stardom for his iconic role as the oil tycoon Bobby Ewing in the acclaimed CBS 70s drama, Dallas. The actors starred in the gripping series for over 320 episodes before his character’s fateful death in 1985.

Although his career dwindled in 2016, Duffy has once again returned to the headlines for his looks, but this time it’s for how unrecognisable he is. While he still maintains his charming smile, the 76-year-old, who once had a full head of dark brown locks, now sports white hair, which is slicked back into a style rather than its thick and bouncy shape he’s known for. Duffy has seemingly reinvented himself and hit major career milestones after leaving the spotlight behind and venturing into the bread business.

Alongside his girlfriend Linda Purl, the couple put on a loved-up display as they proudly posed together in an American supermarket which now stocks his bread, Duffy’s Dough.

In a new Instagram video, the couple were seen celebrating the brand’s arrival in Kroger stores and took to the caption, they penned: “From our garage to this.

“Thank you to each and every one of you for supporting us along this journey, and to @krogerco for helping us reach so many more of you!

“We are so pleased to be able to support food scarcity with 100% of our profits, one loaf at a time.” Duffy’s Dough also sells DIY dehydrated sourdough starter kits for those who want to make bread at home.

The Bobby Ewing star previously opened up about finding love again after his wife of 41 years, Carlyn Rosser, died after a battle with cancer in 2017.

He said Linda was an old friend and the two reconnected through video calls during the COVID-19 pandemic, and sparks flew when they eventually saw each other in the flesh.

As this is Duffy’s first and only relationship since Carly’s death, the actor spoke on life after the heartbreaking loss and told People: “When [happiness is] offered, think about it, do whatever you do, but don’t let it pass you up if it’s the right thing.

“I never thought for a minute this would happen again. I never thought I’d feel this way again.”
