The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Melissa Gorga announced on July 10 that she is stepping away from her podcast, On Display with Melissa Gorga, which she began hosting in 2021. In a heartfelt message, Melissa expressed her gratitude to her listeners for their support over the past four seasons, but revealed that she has decided to focus on other ventures moving forward.
In her announcement, Melissa acknowledged the importance of her audience’s feedback and engagement in fueling her passion for the podcast. She shared, “After much reflection, I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from the podcast” as she wraps up the latest season.
Throughout her podcasting journey, Melissa’s husband, Joe Gorga, frequently appeared as a guest, offering insights into their marriage and family life. Melissa also welcomed a variety of guests, including other Bravo personalities and pop culture figures, covering a wide range of topics from relationships to health and beyond.
Melissa elaborated a bit more on the decision to step away from the podcast in a video she posted to Instagram (below) as well as the July 10 episode on the show in an episode titled, “So Long, Farewell.”
What does Melissa Gorga do for a living?
In her Instagram post, Melissa noted that she planned to dedicate more time to her sprinkle cookie business, Let’s Sprinkle by MG, as well as her Envy Boutiques, and, of course, her family now that the podcast is ending.
“I’ve recently embarked on an exciting new venture with [Let’s Sprinkle by MG] and it’s demanding my full attention, amongst other things that are coming. Balancing both has become a challenge [and] let’s not forget about 2 locations of [Envy and] online store, 3 kids and a Joe!”

What’s next for Melissa Gorga after her podcast?
Melissa’s statement went on to note that “I believe that focusing on this new path will allow me to grow and innovate in ways I’ve always dreamed of.”
She continued: “I want to assure you that this decision wasn’t easy. I will cherish the memories we’ve created together, and I am so proud of the community we’ve built. Thank you for being a part of my journey, for your understanding, and for the endless encouragement you’ve shown me.”
She went on to say that there’s always a chance she could make a return to the podcast space someday. “Though I may be stepping away from the mic, I will carry all of your support with me as I dive into this new adventure. I hope to return someday, but until then, keep shining and spreading joy, just like the sprinkle cookies I’ll be baking!” she wrote. “Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart. Wishing you all the best! Love U.”
