FARMER CITY, Ill. (WCIA) — Interstate 74 Eastbound at Farmer City has been reopened following a three-vehicle crash in DeWitt County Thursday evening.

At approximately 7:39 p.m., Illinois State Police Troop 7 said that this area had been reopened to traffic following the crash that occurred just an hour before. There is no further information at this time.


FARMER CITY, Ill. (WCIA) — Illinois State Police Troop 7 is on the scene of a three-vehicle crash just east of Farmer City, and traffic in the area is being detoured.

At approximately 6:25 p.m., Illinois State Police said that Troop 7 is currently on the scene of a three-vehicle crash on I-74 E/B at milepost 161, just east of Farmer City. Eastbound traffic is currently being detoured at exit 159 to Farmer City and Illinois Route 54.

State Police is urging drivers to use caution and seek an alternate route if traveling in the area. There is no further information available at this time.
