Clinic owned by Bali shooting survivor's girlfriend firebombed

A Melbourne skin-care clinic that was firebombed overnight is owned by the girlfriend of the Australian man who survived a brazen shooting in Bali last month.

The hunt is on for the culprit behind last night’s attack, after emergency services responded to reports of a man setting fire to a shop near the intersection of Toorak Road and Caroline Street at about 11.15pm overnight.

While Ghanim survived that shooting, his friend Zivan Radmanovic – who is Guordeas’ brother-in-law – was killed in the ambush.

Three Australian men have been arrested over the alleged murder , with Indonesian police saying they have enough evidence to bring them to trial on charges of premeditated murder, which could carry a life sentence or the death penalty.

Following the firebombing of the Melbourne skincare clinic, police searched the area but could not find the suspected arsonist.

Specialist investigators spent the morning sifting through the charred remains of the shop, and police are treating it as a targeted attack and probing whether it is linked to the violence in Bali.
