BCSO arrests man for attempted armed robbery

BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. () — The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) arrested a man for attempted armed robbery Thursday after he tried to rob the Burton Los Hermanos.

Around 4:15 p.m., officers responded after a male suspect entered the store, pointed a firearm at the cashier and demanded money. The suspect left on a bicycle without taking any money.

Kenneth Mikel Fields, 31, was later located and arrested following a confession of the attempted robbery.
