Scheana Shay recently revealed that her husband, Brock Davies, cheated on her while she was pregnant with their daughter. Shay is finally revealing the details of the devastating affair in her upcoming memoir, My Good Side. She said that after he admitted to infidelity, Davies handed her a letter explaining his actions. The Vanderpump Rules star said that this didn’t exactly help her work through her feelings.

Scheana Shay admitted she had concerns about Brock Davies’ infidelity 

Shay admitted that she began to worry about infidelity in her relationship after she learned that her Vanderpump Rules co-star Tom Sandoval was cheating on his longtime partner, Ariana Madix. Rumors began to circulate that Davies was involved with Raquel Leviss, just as Sandoval had been.

“Even though I knew in my heart that the gossip concerning Brock and Raquel was ridiculously fake, we had to deal with it anyway,” she wrote in her book (per Glamour). “There was the smallest section of my brain that kept thinking: If Tom and Raquel pulled the wool over everyone’s eyes for seven months, could Brock and Raquel have done the same thing? When such a monumental lie is exposed so close to you, it brings a lot into question.”

She said she also started to hear that Davies was involved with another woman early in their relationship.

“That wasn’t the only blind item about Brock and another woman to emerge during this time,” Shay wrote. “There was also one about him dating a woman in San Diego around the same time we met, which claimed that Brock would spend Saturdays with her, before coming up to see me on Sundays for Chargers games.”

She said he denied these rumors, and she believed him.

Eventually, the rumors died down, and Shay said she relaxed. One night, though, Davies shocked her when he admitted he had a brief affair with an old friend. Shay was pregnant with their daughter at the time, and he claimed he felt anxious about becoming a father again. After admitting to this, Davies handed Shay a letter that he wrote one year after the affair ended.

“[H]e wrote the letter, which included more specifics than I ever wanted, such as how many times they’d slept together, where they’d done it, and where they hadn’t (our house),” she wrote. “He also pointed out that it was purely physical, never emotional, and he always used protection. Gee, thanks!”

Shay said that, adding insult to injury, the letter was full of spelling mistakes. 

“He definitely wasn’t sober when he put pen to paper, so the spelling errors were rampant,” she wrote. “I can’t explain why, but that really irritated me. Maybe because it felt like another sign of his carelessness.”
