Kyle Richards’ lifelong friend, Christine Blackman, has reportedly joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on the heels of Garcelle Beauvais‘ exit from the show.

Weeks after Rachel Zoe, 53, was confirmed for the new season, which will include the returns of Kyle, 56, Erika Jayne, 54, Dorit Kemsley, 48, Sutton Stracke, 53, and Bozoma “Boz” Saint John, 48, a production insider has revealed that Christine, the wife of Hollywood director Steve Blackman, has been filming with the women, and Teddi Mellencamp, 44, seems to have been doing the same.

“Producers haven’t decided yet if she will be full-time or a friend of, they’re playing it by ear based on how filming goes. But so far, so good. She’s a great addition and Kyle is so happy to have a confidant by her side,” the source revealed to The U.S. Sun on July 11.

On Instagram, Christine, whose husband created Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy, and also worked on series like Fargo, Legion, and Altered Carbon, lists herself as a “mom, wife, womb whisperer, advocate, shoe aficionado, animal lover, [and] voyager.”

She’s also featured Kyle, whom she’s been close to since they were teens, on many occasions over the years.

“Happy Birthday to you, [Kyle Richards]!!! Thank you for being the greatest friend/confidante/teacher/stylist/cheerleader/ neighbor a girl could ask for. May this be the best year yet!!!” Christine wrote in the caption of a birthday post to Kyle last year.

Christine even celebrated Christmas with Kyle, Teddi, and series regular Faye Resnick, 68, in December.

While Bravo has not yet confirmed the full cast lineup for RHOBH season 15, Christine was spotted on a group trip with Kyle, Erika, and what appeared to be Teddi, Sutton, and series friend Jennifer Tilly, 66, in Sedona, Arizona, earlier this week, where the group embarked on the city’s Pink Jeep tour.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 is expected to premiere on Bravo later this year or early next year.
