What doesn’t kill Kelly Clarkson makes her stronger.

The “Since U Been Gone” hitmaker addressed her recent Las Vegas residency cancellations as she returned to the stage on Friday night, according to a clip shared to TikTok.

“It took us a minute. I’m so sorry. I know some of y’all had tickets for last weekend’s shows. We can’t help our bodies sometimes. You know we get sick, and that happens.”

“This is my favorite residency, my favorite show we’ve ever put together, because I love being in the studio, and that’s where this whole idea came from,” Clarkson continued in the clip shared by a fan on the social media platform.

A rep for the singer did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for further comment.

The “American Idol” alum, 43, announced she would be canceling some of her Las Vegas shows just minutes before she was scheduled to take the stage last Friday.

In her Instagram statement, she explained that she and her team had been working “24/7” to create the “most intimate and extraordinary experience” for her “incredible fans.”

Though, she noted, “The prep and rehearsals have taken a toll on my voice.”

“I want the shows to be perfect for y’all and I need to protect myself from doing serious damage so I am taking this weekend and next week to rest up so that we can deliver what you all deserve.”

The “Stronger” singer added, “I am beyond grateful that you always show up for me and I am devastated to have to postpone tonight and tomorrow’s opening at Caesars.”

Soon after the cancellation, sources in the know told Page Six the songstress had been struggling with “hidden battles” which coincided with the abrupt cancellation.

“She belts out every single note. She’s an incredibly powerful singer, but it takes its toll on her vocal cords and she’s come incredibly close to needing surgery before,” said one insider, confirming Clarkson’s statement on her physical health.

A second source noted that Clarkson — who recently went through a nasty public divorce from Brandon Blackstock — has an “insanely complicated” personal life.

“Kelly is fighting some serious hidden battles that very few people are privy to … it’s a source of emotional and therefore physical distress for her,” the insider said.
