() Actor Kevin Spacey is the latest person to call for the release of files related to the investigation of Jeffrey Epstein.

“For those of us with nothing to fear, the truth can’t come soon enough,” Spacey said Tuesday in a post on social media. “I hate to make this about me but the media already has.”

Spacey has faced nine charges of sexual assault filed against him by four men in England. He was later acquitted of all the charges in 2023. Spacey was also allegedly listed in the Epstein files, but has denied all allegations of working with him.

The actor joins the growing number of people, including some Democratic lawmakers, who are calling for the Justice Department to release all the information it has regarding Epstein, including an alleged client list that was evidence in the federal investigation. President Donald Trump has defended U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, who has come under fire since announcing there was no list despite previously suggesting she had the list on her desk.

House Speaker Mike Johnson also defended Bondi on Monday, saying he “has faith” in her and that he trusts the White House will “make the right decision” regarding the files.

A source previously told that FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino would have unsealed the evidence related to the Epstein investigation “months ago” if their department could do so.

Epstein died in August 2019 in a Manhattan prison cell, where he was awaiting trial after his arrest for the sex trafficking of minors. Authorities ruled the death a suicide, though conspiracy theories continue to circulate that the disgraced financier was murdered.
