Emily Ratajkowski says she is firmly on board when it comes to returning for a Too Much Season 2 and is just waiting on Netflix to give the green light.

**Spoiler alert: this article contains details from the entire first season of Too Much**

Chatting with DECIDER about the latest project from Girls creator Lena Dunham, the model, actress, and activist shared that while things are still in the very early stages — Season 1 only came out on July 10 — the entire cast and crew is excited about the prospect of exploring the next stages of Jessica (Meg Stalter) and Felix’s (Will Sharpe) life. In the finale, “The Idea of Glue,” the pair tie the knot after reconciling following their Episode 9 break-up and Episode 10 public crash-out over the death of Astrid, Jessica’s beloved dog.

As footage of Jessica and Felix’s wedding plays out just before the credits roll, Wendy Jones (Ratajkowski) gives one final voiceover in which she apologizes for wearing one of Jessica’s t-shirts that used to belong to her mom. As she sends the shirt back, she hopes that her next favorite shirt fits even more perfectly and wishes the same for Jessica. To Ratajkowski and Dunham, the ending leaves things open for more stories to be explored in a Season 2.

“Lena was like, ‘I have a whole story for Wendy if we get a second season,’” the My Body author told DECIDER. “I was like, ‘Okay, keep me posted, girl.’”

Pressed for more details, Ratajkowski shared that she couldn’t say much more than that they have some thoughts about where fans would see Wendy Jones if a second season were to happen. “I mean, we just have an idea. We have some ideas,” she said.

Netflix has yet to give the series a second season and while many might see Season 1’s ending as a perfectly wrapped-up package, there is so much more story to tell. In an interview, Dunham, who wed her own British musician husband in 2021, said that she thinks they could hone in on the post-marriage complications that are inevitable.

“Marriage is not the end of a love story,” Dunham told The Wrap. “In many ways, it’s the beginning, and a marriage is an incredibly complicated negotiation.”

So true! We personally could not be more excited at the prospect of seeing these characters again. Too Much Season 1 is currently streaming on Netflix.
