Comedian Pete Davidson and model Elsie Hewitt have big news to share.

On Wednesday, July 16, Hewitt took to Instagram, revealing that she and Davidson are expectant parents.

Alongside several photos of the couple together, including videos from an ultrasound, Hewitt and Davidson announced they are expecting their first child together. “Welp now everyone knows we had sex,” Elsie, 29, captioned the post.

According to the Associated Press, Davidson, 31, and Hewitt were first spotted together publicly in March.

In 2022, while talking with fellow comedian Kevin Hart, Davidson admitted one of his biggest life goals is to be a father himself one day.

“My favorite think ever, which I have yet to achieve, is I want to have a kid,” Davidson told Hart, at the time. “It’s like my dream.”

“It would be so fun to dress up a little dude. I’m so excited for, like, that chapter. So that’s kind of what I’m just preparing for now. I’m trying to be as good as a dude and develop and get better so when that happens. It’s just easier.”

In the comment section of Hewitt’s post, thousands of friends and fans shared their congratulations, including rapper Machine Gun Kelly.

MGK, earlier this year, welcomed a daughter into the world with his ex-girlfriend, Megan Fox. “These playdates bout to hittttt,” the rapper wrote on Hewitt’s post.

MGK and Davidson have been close friends for several years. During a 2022 chat with Howard Stern, MGK revealed that Davidson would be a groomsman in his wedding.

“I think my side is gonna be an army,” he said at the time while appearing on The Howard Stern Show. “I have so many close and best friends that have been with me for all these years. Pete’s absolutely gonna be standing there with me. We should just mic him for commentary.”

“We both came into each other’s lives at the right time,” MGK said of their longtime friendship.

Hewitt’s best friend, fellow model Meredith Mickelson also shared a note, writing, “My bestie is having my mini bestie which means my life is complete.”

Mickelson later added, “HEHEHEHEHEHE. I’M SO HAPPY. BEST MOMMY EVERRRRR.”

According to a source for E! News, Davidson’s mom, Amy Waters, is also “thrilled” about Hewitt’s pregnancy news. “She can’t wait to become a grandma!” the source claimed.

Davidson’s father, a New York City firefighter, passed away on September 11, 2001.

Hewitt and Davidson have kept their relationship fairly private over the last four months, with Hewitt occasionally sharing images and videos of their time together on social media.

Hewitt has also been open about her struggle with endometriosis. The model had surgery for endometriosis in November.

In December, Hewitt took to TikTok to talk about the symptom and pain she’s experienced as a result of endometriosis. “The amount of opportunities I’ve lost out on because I can’t work when I’m feeling this way, or it’s like a liability to be on set, if I might have to go to the emergency room, or if I can’t work because money is at stake,” she said at the time,” noting in a separate video that her symptoms have gotten progressively worse over the years.
