Napoli and Galatasaray have advanced in negotiations for the transfer of Victor Osimhen, with both clubs agreeing on a €75 million fee and a structured payment schedule.
According to multiple reports, including those by Matteo Moretto, Yagiz Sabuncuoğlu, and Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray will pay an initial €40 million upfront, followed by two instalments of €17.5 million each by June 2026.
The agreement also includes a unique clause: if Osimhen joins another Serie A club within two years, specifically Juventus Galatasaray would incur a €75 million penalty.
The clause is widely interpreted as a strategic move to block any potential switch to Juventus, with all release clauses in the deal reportedly valid only for clubs outside Italy.
Napoli are still pushing for a 20% sell-on clause, though discussions are ongoing and Galatasaray have not ruled out negotiating this point.
Osimhen, who was excluded from Napoli’s pre-season training squad, appears set to complete the transfer once final details are resolved.
